Stephenite Happy Academies
Happiness is very important in learning. Our Happy Academies arise out of our love and our dreams for our students. SSA wants to have special opportunities to discover and flourish own individual talents and gifts of every student .
We believe that:
-each student is special and endowed with multiple talents.
-discovering ones talents and gifts and excelling in those talents, lead each student to be fully human and fully alive.
-their approach to their special talents must bring genuine and lifelong happiness in their lives.
In view of making the students expert in the talents of their interest, we allot minimum an hour each on every Tuesday and Saturday in furnishing and flourishing the talents they have chosen. There are altogether 11 Happy Academies which make a gala of talents in SSA. Stephenite Contest
Miss and Master Stephenite Crown:
Stepehenite Contest is one of the most sought after, all embracing and comprehesively dynamic activities of our unique school. This unique and only mega event of this kind is an endevour of St. Stephen's with the aim of nurturing 'excellence' in every participant.
The unltimate aim of the Contest is to transform every participating student to be fully human and fully alive. The Contest is designed in such way that it ensures a high degree of confidence in speaking, socializing and self projecting in addition to its varied and exciting items in its various rounds.
SC contest usually conducts five elimination rounds with multi-faceted, competative activities. After having selected from the tough five rounds of contest, eight contestants enter into grand finale contest (4 male and 4 female) for the most prestigious 'Miss and Master Stephenite Crown'.
Its an uniquely unique venture of our school to empower our students.
Stephenite Wall Magazine Galaxy:
Stephenite Wall Magazine Galaxy is yet another event in St. Stephen's Academy, Kaffer. Stephenite Wall Magazine Galaxy is an attempt made by the school to motivate the students to bring out their creative writing skills, skills in drawing, painting, designing and publishing. The entire event is divided into four Wall Magazine Boards and each board is allotted to each of the four Stephenite Empowerment Houses. The Stephenite Wall Magazine Galaxy is animated by a Wall Magazine committee consisting of 4 teachers and 2 students representatives.
Wall. Magazine competitions being organized frequently, at least 6 times in a year. Special wall magazine issues on various events , festivals, birthdays and on other occasion are brought out.
This unique venture is SSA, Kaffer is aimed at providing opportunities to our students to shine forth.
Becoming Leaders
Leadership development is one of the great strengths of St. Stephen's Academy, Kaffer. Each year, the school forms leaders who hold a very prominent and indispensible role in the day to day management of the school. These student leaders become models of leading, serving and excelling to every other student in the school. The main objective of this scheme in SSA is "empowering the youth of today to lead; to serve and to excel through fellowship, human formation and selfless service".
These leaders are given opportunities in get involved personally in the day to day management of the school. They are being motivated, guided and animated at every stage of their leadership by a very visionary leadership team headed by the Principal himself.
